El presente proyecto de investigación centra su atención en temas relativos a la noción de salud y su ausencia, la enfermedad a lo largo de la Edad Media (siglos V al XV), en el espacio de la Europa Occidental a la luz de fuentes primarias y la bibliografía reciente. Dada la extensión del período lo hemos articulado en tres momentos: la Alta, Plena y Baja Edad Media; en cada uno de estos tres momentos abordamos los problemas relativos a la salud, sus agentes, los conocimientos propios emanados de monasterios, escuelas catedralicias y desde el siglo XIII, Universidades- así como otros producto de difusores como judíos y musulmanes. Asimismo, consideramos las principales endemias, epidemias y pandemias -tanto físicas como psíquicas-, que afectan durante éste período a la sociedad de la época.

This project focuses on issues related to the notion of health and its absence, illness throughout the Middle Ages (V-XV centuries) , in the space of Western Europe. We use primary sources and recent literature. Due to the extension of the period we have articulated in three stages: Early, Open and Late Middle Ages; in each three moments we study the problems of health, their agents, the knowledge ?in monasteries, cathedral schools and since the thirteenth century, Universities-, the role of jews and muslims, etc. We also consider endemic, epidemics and pandemics diseases, -physical and mental-, affecting their society during this period.

El presente proyecto es la continuación del otorgado por la Secretaria de Ciencia, Técnica y Posgrado para el bienio 2013-2015 titulado: Empresas Culturales de Época. Voces y silencios. Representaciones y discursos históricos, políticos y culturales. Esta propuesta constituye un aporte historiográfico significativo para comprender el proceso histórico, político y cultural de la Argentina finisecular y las particularidades del liberalismo argentino. Los objetivos de la investigación se centran en el análisis-reflexivo y crítico del ?corpus? textual de la Revista Argentina de Ciencias Política (1910-1928), la revista Atlántida (1911-1914), la revista Nosotros (periodo 1907-1922), la Revista de Derecho Historia y Letras (1898-1924) y la revista Caras y Caretas (periodo 1898-1916). Bajo el signo del nacionalismo cultural del Centenario y contextualizada en la cosmovisión del pensamiento liberal reformista, se identificaron como empresas culturales de época y constituyeron un espacio de opinión de invaluable significado al trasmitir ideas y valores identitarios de la Nación. Las mismas son una representación política cultural de la Argentina de principios de siglo XX desde el ámbito de lo público. El extenso período que exploran algunas de estas publicaciones, invita a la lectura y revisión de ideas políticas-constitucionales, socio-culturales y de derecho internacional. Abordan producciones historiográficas de vanguardia y literarias, así como, de los ?actuales? comentarios bibliográficos o ?notas?

Cultural Endeavors of the Time Voices and silences. Representations and historical political and cultural discourses.This project sets up a significant historiographic contribution for the understanding of the historical, political and cultural process of Argentina during the 20th Century and the peculiarities of the Argentine Liberalism. The goals of this research are focused on the reflexive and critical analisys of the textual ´corpus´ of the ?Argentine journal of Political Science? by Rodolfo Rivarola, first published on October 1910 and the ?Atlántida? by David Peña journal in 1911, jourrnal ?Nosotros? by the Rodolfo Bianchi and Roberto Giusti period 1907-1916, Revista Argentina de Derecho Histoira y Letras by Estanislao Zeballos 1898-1924 and the Caras y Caretas by Manuel Mayol, José María Cao Luaces and Sixto Álvarez (Fray Mocho). 1898-1916 between two centenariansContextualized on the cosmovision of the reformist liberal thought, the ?Argentine Journal of Political Sciences? and the ?Atlántida journal? became the cultural endeavors of their time, and constituted a significant and an invaluable forum of opinion, by spreading the ideas and values which identified the nation at that time. Both journals convey a cultural and a political representation of Argentina at the beginning of the 20th Century from the public eye. The long period which theset trhee journals research, lead the readers to review: - the constitutional and political ideas, - the vanguardist historiographic productions, - the international Law, - as well as to rebuild the political and cultural universe of that time

El presente proyecto, continuación del proyecto 2013-2015, profundiza el tratamiento de las derivaciones obtenidas como conclusión del proyecto precedente. La interrelación entre logos-lenguaje y praxis, que estructura como nervio conceptual el debate filosófico contemporáneo, es el elemento del que surge gran parte del desarrollo filosófico actual dado que es imposible desconocer la centralidad de la palabra en su doble faz de logos como centro de sentido y como lenguaje comunicacional y operativo. En este escenario en el que el ?diálogo?, fenómeno central de la cultura contemporánea, se muestra como principio y fin de toda posibilidad humana de realización individual y colectiva, la praxis, la acción, se ve traspasada por él generando desde allí nuevas posibilidades de pensar la ética y las distintas manifestaciones intelectuales y culturales. Se abre una perspectiva para la reflexión acerca del hombre actual y su sistema de relaciones interpersonales que se centra en el poder del ?discurso? como constructor de realidad y como ámbito de discusión. Discurso y acción se tornan caras de una situación común que ahora definen al hombre desde una perspectiva nueva, la de una dinámica interna impresa en su humanidad como debate de un logos profundo en busca de un sentido en la pluralidad de los sentidos emergentes.

This project, continuation of the 2013-2015 project, deepens the treatment of referrals made as a conclusion of the previous project. The interrelationship between logos-language and praxis, that structure and conceptual nerve contemporary philosophical debate, is the element of much of the current philosophical development arises because it is impossible to ignore the centrality of the word in its double face of logos as center sense and as a communicational and operational language. In this scenario where the 'dialogue', central phenomenon of contemporary culture, is shown as beginning and end of all human possibility of individual and collective achievement, praxis, action, is transfixed by him generating from there new possibilities thinking about ethics and the various intellectual and cultural manifestations. a perspective for reflection about the current man and his system of interpersonal relations that focuses on the power of 'speech' as a builder of reality and as an area of discussion opens. Por medio del análisis de contextos arqueológicos procedentes de sitios comprendidos entre los ca. 1600 y 600 msnm dentro de la Provincia Fitogeográfica del Monte en el Norte de Mendoza, se busca conocer y explicar las estrategias adaptativas implementadas por las etnias locales en su relación con los minerales, animales y vegetales. Tales estrategias habrían supuesto una significativa movilidad poblacional bajo patrones residenciales diferenciados en términos sincrónicos y diacrónicos; sobre todo considerando que los recursos experimentaban variaciones en su disponibilidad, localización y abundancia según variaciones del contexto ambiental. Tratándose de un paisaje árido, la relevancia en la localización de fuentes de agua habría tenido impactos significativos en la presencia de animales y plantas, lo que gravitó en las formas de articular su explotación a través del tiempo. En este caso, las investigaciones se estructuran a partir de la comparación de tres bloques temporales comprendidos entre los ca. 2000 y 300 años AP y según localizaciones a diferentes altitudes entre los 1600 y menos de 700 msnm, apuntando a comprender el funcionamiento de la movilidad a la luz de los modelos regional y localista propuestos para el norte de Mendoza. Se pretende así, lograr aproximaciones de grano medio a fino a los cambios y continuidades experimentados por las comunidades locales. Esto en un territorio y durante un período en el cual, los aspectos tecnológicos en lo inherente al uso de la roca y de la arcilla y las formas de organización económica, han tendido a homologarse como ?agroalfareras? sin mayores diferenciaciones salvo desde aspectos meramente tipológicos de algunos artefactos. Así, pretendemos aportar datos para lograr una explicación de los procesos culturales de las etnías locales en tiempos anteriores y posteriores al arribo de los conquistadores y la fundación de la ciudad de Mendoza.

Through the analysis of archaeological contexts included from sites between ca. 1600 and 600 msnm in the Mount Phytogeographical Province in Northern Mendoza, seeks to understand and explain the adaptive strategies implemented by local ethnic groups in their relationship with minerals, animals and plants. Such strategies have led to a significant population mobility under different residential patterns in synchronic and diachronic terms; especially considering that resources experienced changes in their availability, location and abundance variations according to the environmental context. Being an arid landscape, relevance in locating sources of water would have had significant impacts on the presence of animals and plants, which gravitated in the forms of joint exploitation through time. In this case, investigations are structured from the comparison of three blocks of time ranging between ca. 2000 and 300 years BP and according to locations at different altitudes between 1600 and less than 700 meters, aiming to understand how mobility in the light of the regional and localist models proposed for northern Mendoza. The aim is to achieve approximations of medium to fine grain changes and continuities experienced by local communities. This in a territory and during a period in which the technological aspects as inherent in the use of rock and clay and forms of economic organization, have tended order to be considered as "farmer and ceramists" without major differentiations except from aspects merely typological of some artifacts. Thus, we aim to provide data to achieve an explanation of the cultural processes of local ethnic groups before and after the arrival of the conquistadors and the founding of the city of Mendoza.

En Psicología Educacional se postulan formas innovadoras de pensar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje a fin de promover estudiantes autónomos y autorregulados, meta que exige comprender el aprender en sus riesgos y factores protectores. Esta investigación continúa la línea: Aprendizaje en Educación superior, cuyo objeto de estudio es el aprender en funcionamiento. Se indaga sobre Concepciones y Experiencias (indicadores de aprendizaje efectivo, elementos favorecedores/obstaculizadores, procesos y estrategias que emplea el estudiante, atribuciones causales y personalidad). Entre 2007-2015 se abordaron cuatro cohortes (N= 737 casos) en las que se mantuvieron los aspectos bajo análisis y la aproximación desde la subjetividad. La información aportada por los estudiantes permite puntualizar núcleos para orientar el aprender a aprender. Los objetivos generales son: 1. Identificar aspectos protectores y riesgos que condicionan el avance en la trayectoria académica; 2. Ponderar si las tendencias según autopercepción y tramo pueden ser generalizadas o son específicas de un contexto; 3. Formalizar recursos para contribuir al aprendizaje autorregulado. Desde la metodología, es una investigación ecológica, de naturaleza aplicada. El alcance es descriptivo y comparativo. La aproximación es cuali (Concepciones de aprender) y cuanti (Experiencias). La información se analiza según autopercepción de competencia para aprender (aprende fácilmente/con dificultad), tramo en la trayectoria formativa (inicial/final), carrera (Ciencias de la Educación, Ciencia Política y Administración Pública, Medicina, Pedagogía y Trabajo Social) y universidad -(UNCuyo (Argentina), Universidad Federal de Río de Janeiro-UFRJ, Universidad Estadual Paulista-UEP (Brasil) y Universidad de Colima-UC (México)-. Los datos se reúnen mediante el INCEAPU-Inventario de Concepciones y Experiencias en la universidad.

In Educational Psychology, innovative ways of considering teaching and learning are presented, which contribute to an autonomous and self-regulated learning, a goal that requires understanding the learning risks and protecting factors. This research continues with the line regarding Higher Education Learning, the study object of which is learning in action. Conceptions and Experiences are investigated (effective learning indicators, favoring/hindering elements, processes and strategies used by the student, and causal and personality attributions). Between 2007-2015, four cohorts were dealt with (N= 737 cases), and the aspects under analysis and the approximation from subjectivity were maintained. Based on the information provided by the students, cores can be identified to favor the process of learning to learn.The general goals were: 1. To identify protecting aspects and risks that affect the academic path progress; 2. To consider if the trends according to self-perception and section can be generalized or are context-specific; 3. To formalize resources to contribute to the self-regulated learning. From the methodological perspective, it is an ecological, applied research. The scope is descriptive and comparative. The approach is ?cuali? (Learning Conceptions) and ?cuanti? (Experiences). The information is analyzed according to learning competence self-perception (I learn easily/It is difficult for me to learn), educational path section (initial/final), course of studies (Educational Sciences, Political Sciences and Public Administration, Medicine, Pedagogy or Social Work) and university - (UNCuyo-Argentina, Universidad Federal de Río de Janeiro-UFRJ, Universidad Estadual Paulista-UEP (Brazil) and Universidad de Colima-UC (Mexico). The data is gathered with the INCEAPU-Inventory of Learning Conceptions and Experiences at University.

The self is a fundamental explicative principle to account for consciousness and subjectivity. Different approaches and descriptions have been developed both from philosophic, scientific and psychological perspectives.This project intends to inquire into two aspects of the self that should allow to group most of the studies made about this principle: the minimal self, i.e., the tacit pre-reflective self-consciousness devoid of temporal extension, and the narrative self, which involves personal identity and continuity across time. The minimal sense of self includes, in turn, a sense of self-ownership, that is, a sense that I am the one who is having an experience, and a sense of self-agency for actions, that is, a sense that I am the initiator or the source of the action. In the normal experience of voluntary or willed action, both aspects are intimately connected and hardly distinguishable. Gallagher states that there are occasions in which they can be distinguished. Other authors challenged the strict distinction noticing that they are intimately related and that they even modulate eachother.The detailed phenomenology of psycho- and neuropathological experiences shows that intentionality ?a relational character? instead is the constituent of the agentic nature, of the minimal sense of self. This leads us to investigate: 1. if the minimal sense of self seems to remain in experiences of extreme disruption of the self, does the minimal self never get lost? 2. Considering that it is a pre-reflective dimension, it could bring elements to account for the subjective activity ?agency in the sense of intentionality? of coma and in a vegetative-state patients.Concerning the narrative self we would like to consider the case of patients with a life threatening disease. Over the last few years a great attention has been devoted to the reappearance of mental clarity and memory shortly before death in patients with psychiatric and neurologic disorders. This phenomenon named mental lucidity opens up the possibility of exploring the identity in these patients through narrative, and lets us speculate the following hypotheses: 1. the possible recovery of those brain areas responsible for cognitive abilities, or 2. the recruitment of alternative mechanisms/neural areas which could explain the cognitive recovery, or 3. from a philosophical perspective, the challenge of the necessary neural correlates of every subjective activity.

La investigación que nos proponemos abordar se desprende del programa denominado el ?Arte en Mendoza?, que cuenta con el aval académico de la Facultad de Filosofía y letras e inserto en los proyectos bianuales de la SeCTyP. De este programa, llevado a cabo en el marco del Instituto de Historia del Arte de FFyL de la UNCuyo (2013-2015), nace nuestra propuesta de investigación referida a la producción de la cerámica artística en Mendoza durante los años 1976-2001. En esta etapa se priorizará la producción individual de los artistas ceramistas mendocinos en la conflictiva y vertiginosa experiencia de los años 1976 al 2001. En este período el país se encontró en sintonía con el mundo, en cuanto a los movimientos de información y participación de las nuevas poéticas artísticas y tecnológicas. La obra de arte podemos considerarla como un producto, donde cada hombre elabora su propia idea del arte, de su sociedad y de su propia historia, así, la producción artística por estos años condensa el espíritu de la época. Los procesos políticos, económicos y sociales en el espacio temporal de estudio condensan búsquedas enfrentadas entre el discurso neoliberal que promueve el compromiso riguroso con la ?innovación?, el ?progreso?: el triunfo del consumidor, también, la derrota del ciudadano y la pérdida de la noción de ciudadanía, y los cambios introducidos por el posmodernismo cuya búsqueda defiende la hibridación, la cultura popular, el descentramiento de la autoridad intelectual y científica y la desconfianza ante los grandes relatos. Se trata de entender las producciones artísticas, con especial referencia a la cerámica, en este juego dinámico en tensión, inserta en el contexto global.Así los objetivos imperativos al estudiar, investigar y analizar la respuesta ante los modelos de representación, los ideolectos estéticos que describen los ceramistas de este periodo, contribuyen a la historia del Arte Regional y argentino.

The research we propose to deal follows a program called the "Art in Mendoza", with the academic endorsement of the Faculty of Arts and inserted in the biannual projects SeCTyP. This program, conducted under the Institute of History of Art FFyL UNCuyo (2013-2015), born our research proposal refers to the production of artistic ceramics in Mendoza during the years 1976-2001. At this stage the individual production of Mendoza ceramic artists in the troubled and dizzying experience of the years 1976 to 2001. During this period the country found itself in tune with the world it will be prioritized in terms of the movement of information and participation new artistic and technological poetics. The artwork may be considered as a product, where each man made his own idea of ​​art, its society and its own history as well, artistic production in these years condenses the zeitgeist. Political, economic and social processes in the temporary studio space condensed faced searches between the neoliberal discourse that promotes rigorous commitment to "innovation", "progress": the triumph of the consumer, too, the defeat of the citizen and loss the notion of citizenship, and the changes introduced by postmodernism whose search defends hybridization, popular culture, runout of intellectual and scientific authority and the distrust of the great stories. It is understood artistic productions, with particular reference to ceramics, in this dynamic game tension, inserted in the global context.Imperatives and objectives to study, investigate and analyze the response to the representation models, describing the aesthetic ideolectos potters of this period, contributing to the history of Argentine Regional and Art.

La investigación que nos proponemos abordar forma parte de un programa denominado el Arte en Mendoza, que cuenta con el aval académico de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras según Res.968/04-CD-FFyL. Entendiendo que estas investigaciones se inscriben dentro de un plan estratégico mayor. Los resultados se han convertido en referentes del Arte y de la Cultura local, siendo por ahora la única publicación sistemática anual de Arte en la provincia la que comienza con la década del ´10 y continua en forma ininterrumpida.En esta nueva etapa se priorizará la producción artística en Mendoza durante el período de 1976 a 1983. A partir de este momento, dejamos atrás los estudios enfocados por décadas. Este nuevo marco temporal nos permite explorar en forma integrada los procesos políticos, sociales y culturales. Este tipo de análisis, otorgará otras formas de abordaje sobre el objeto de estudio a partir los cambios producidos en las prácticas artísticas, producto de la censura y el silenciamiento de las manifestaciones artísticas, dentro del contexto local y en vinculación con el contexto nacional, durante la etapa más oscura de la realidad mendocina.Hemos tomado como justificación el período de investigación anterior: el primer Quinquenio de la década de los 70, cuyos aportes logrados contribuyen a establecer la realidad política e institucional y su vinculación dentro del discurso artístico en el panorama nacional y provincial desde el año 68 hasta el 75.

The research we propose to address part of a program called Art in Mendoza, with the academic endorsement of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. This project is part of a research policy that has been constant and sustained by the Institute of History of Art FFyL the UNCuyo. In this new phase of artistic production in Mendoza will be prioritized during the period from 1976 to 1982. From this moment, past studies focused for decades. This new time frame allows us to explore in an integrated political social and cultural processes. Allowing understand the changes in artistic practices, product of censorship and the silencing of demonstrations within the local context and in relation to the national context, during the darkest period of Mendoza reality.

El presente proyecto, titulado La enseñanza de la teoría literaria en el nivel superior y sus proyecciones didácticas en el nivel medio, se articula con investigaciones desarrolladas en el Instituto de Formación Docente Villa Mercedes (Provincia de San Luis) cuyos resultados recoge y continúa. Se pretende sistematizar una propuesta de enseñanza de fundamentos de teoría literaria para el nivel superior a partir de las necesidades detectadas en la educación secundaria. Así planteado, el proyecto supone un diálogo inter-disciplinario de la teoría literaria con la didáctica de la literatura y responde a la metodología conocida como ?investigación-acción?: se espera producir una acción de tipo discursivo (la elaboración de un manual de introducción a la teoría literaria) como respuesta a los datos arrojados por una investigación de campo: la observación de las prácticas de lectura y escritura literaria en escuelas de Mendoza y Villa Mercedes (provincia de San Luis).

This project continues, collect and continues the results of one developed at the Institute of Superior Education in Villa Mercedes (San Luis). It aims to systematize a proposal for teaching fundamentals of literary theory in superior education level in relation with the needs of the secondary education level. The project constructs an inter-disciplinary dialogue of literary theory with the teaching of literature. The project employs the methodology known as action-research. The main objective of the project is to produce an introductory manual of literary theory in response to the data produced by field research: the practices of reading and writing literary texts in secondary schools of Mendoza and Villa Mercedes (San Luis).

Es sabido que la novela latina posee una fuerte impronta retórica, muy propia de la época imperial, época en la cual la oratoria había decaído como práctica forense y se había retirado al ámbito de los ejercicios del último nivel en la formación del orador de escuela. No obstante, los géneros literarios de la época -entre ellos, específicamente, la novela- acusan una fuerte carga retórica no solo como adorno del discurso sino como base persuasiva que configura internamente sus rasgos propios. La retórica contemporánea ha revisado las antiguas nociones de éthos y el páthos observando el modo como los tópicos persuasivos que operan sobre la afectividad estructuran el discurso. En la novela antigua latina, estos tópicos inciden modelan tanto la capacidad persuasiva del narrador como buena parte de los efectos de recepción del relato. La presente investigación busca observar y delimitar la función de las pistis afectivas en la caracterización del narrador y de los personajes, como también su posible efecto sobre el lector en el Satiricón de Petronio y el Asno de oro de Apuleyo. En esta tarea, además del estudio de las fuentes antiguas para la descripción de los procedimientos persuasivos de la afectividad se tendrá en cuenta el aporte de estudios sobre el tema que ha propuesto últimamente la Neo Retórica.

It is known that the Roman Novel has a strong rhetoric, very own imprint of the imperial era, a period in which the oratory had declined as forensic practice and retired the scope of the exercises of the last level in the formation of the speaker school. However, the literary genres of the time -among them, specifically, the novel- show a strong rhetorical burden not only as decoration but as persuasive speech base internally set their own features. Contemporary rhetoric has revised the old notions of ethos and pathos observing the way that the persuasive topics that operate on affectivity structure the speech. In the Roman Novel, these issues affect both the persuasiveness model narrator as much of the effects of receipt of the story. This research seeks to observe and define the role of affective pistis in the characterization of the narrator and characters, as well as their possible effect on the reader in Petronius' Satyricon and Apuleius' Golden Ass. In this task, in addition to the study of ancient for describing persuasive sources affectivity procedures will take into account the contribution of studies on the subject that has lately proposed the Neo Rhetoric.
