A melting pot for the UNCuyo

180 students will go down the halls of the UNCuyo during the 2nd semester of 2019. 17 nationalities will reinforce the internationalization policies of the UNCuyo and will supply an international facet to the campus.

Germany, Bolivia, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, South Korea, Spain, United States, France, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Switzerland and Uruguay are the countries that, last Thursday, count with a referent in the orientation meeting for the exchange students, in charge of the Academic Mobility team in which the authorities from the UNCuyo, leaded by Rector Eng. Daniel Pizzi, gave them a warm welcome.

PhD. Jimena Estrella, Head of the Secretariat for Research, International Relations and Postgraduate Studies (SIIP), began the meeting with allusive words to the academic exchange. “The processes of internationalization favor the development of the international value and allow students to grow not only professional but academically.  They allow modifying personalities, how to see the world, and the way of relating to each other. This is why we promote this kind of projects.”

Daniel Pizzi expressed: “The migratory routes have helped Mendoza to be what it is nowadays. You will take with you from this exchange, apart from the academic knowledge, experiences in relations: laughs, experiences and good moments you will never forget. This semester will change your lives.”  

The students will fulfill biannual or annual stays and will be trained in different faculties from our campus. Additionally, they will be able to access to different benefits from the UNCuyo to complement their exchange.

The students will be able to add sport activities (in the university club) to their academic courses, to travel all over the country with University Tourism, to study languages in the Outreach courses from the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature or to be part of the Educational Social Practicum from the Secretariat of University Liaison of the UNCuyo.
